At the beginning of September, the One-Stop Service Center that was located at 455 Fort Street in downtown relocated to SER Metro on the Southwest side of Detroit.  Then in November, the One-Stop formerly located at 707 W. Milwaukee reopened at Northwest Activities Center in Northwest Detroit. Both facilities are now fully operational at their new locations. The One-Stop facility at the Samaritan Center, located at 5555 Conner on the East side remains unchanged.

The relocations of the two One-Stop Service Centers came about as a result of a review of customer home ZIP codes for our Fort Street and Milwaukee facilities” said Pamela Moore, President and CEO of DESC.  “The results indicated a need to locate the facilities on the Southwest and Northwest side where the majority of customer volume was located.”

The move out of Milwaukee and Fort Street also necessitated a move of the Administrative Offices, which are now located downtown at 440 E Congress, Detroit, MI 48226.

All service centers can be contacted via a main phone number – (313) 962-WORK.  The main number for the Administrative Offices is (313) 876-0674
