Laid-off workers who have filed a claim for unemployment benefits must register for work at their local Michigan Works! Agency. It is required that you register on the MiTalent Connect system for employment services to be and remain eligible for unemployment benefits. To register, log on to www.mitalent.org and create a complete profile. After completing your profile you must report in-person to your local Michigan Works! Agency no later than three (3) business days before your first contact with Michigan’s Automated Response Voice Interactive Network (MARVIN). Failure to register for work may affect your unemployment benefits.
If you have questions regarding how to register for work, please contact Detroit Employment Solutions at one of our Michigan Works! One-Stop Service Center locations.
