ExperienceIT held its graduation ceremony for 44 students that completed the 10-week training program on October 12, 2015.
Designed to transition students from the classroom to the workplace through real-world IT projects, mentorship and training, ExperienceIT students learn in a working environment using technologies such as .Net, Java, SQL Server, MY SQL, and PHP. Soft skills such as those related to interpersonal communication, working in teams and job interviews are also key components of the focus. Classes, held at Grand Circus, run eight hours a day, five days a week over the program period.
86% of the students were offered jobs upon completion of the program, up from 80% in the first cohort that graduated in 2014, with an average wage in the low- to mid- $50,000 range.
We offer our congratulations to everyone, and wish them good luck in their future IT careers.
