So, you’ve heard about the development of ‘District Detroit’, the world-class Sports and Entertainment District that will be built just north of the Fox Theater between now and 2017. District Detroit is the most exciting new project the city has had in many years. The Ilitch organization has expanded its planned investment in the District to now include tens of millions of dollars in new neighborhood public improvements such as lighting, sidewalks, green spaces and streets – developments that will occur alongside the development of the new District neighborhoods and arena. Such an huge and important project brings with it the need for skilled labor, and if you want to be part of it, you’ve come to the right place.
